Sarah Kirkish is a “Portable Professional”, who loves to meet new people and help others build their businesses. Sarah’s professional background is in engineering and business with a focus on customer service to create productivity systems for her clients. Her hobbies include knitting, crocheting, hiking, movies and cribbage.
Sarah’s history with the David B began in August 2010, when she took her first San Juan Islands cruise. Then serendipity smiled and Sarah moved to Bellingham, Washington in 2011. She spent Fall 2011 helping Christine and Jeffrey in the “San Juans” as a mess mate and deck hand. Her fate was sealed during the summer of 2012, when Sarah graduated to “Cat Staff” as she took care of the Smith kitties, Harriet and Oswald while the David B was up in Alaska. She happily raised her hand for the job again in the Summers of 2014 and 2015.
In the Fall of 2014, the Smiths asked her to answer Northwest Navigation trip inquiry emails and phone calls. Sarah promptly developed a reservation tracking system for the 2015 sailing season. She now takes care of our latest batch of cats, Thea, Ada and Ramona. When she is not in Bellingham for the summers, she migrates each winter to Albuquerque to be with her southwest friends and mom.
Sarah is very excited to be a part of Northwest Navigation helping with reservations and answering passenger questions. According to Christine, “Everyone needs a Sarah.”
