Desolation Sound

Hidden along the Southern British Columbia coastline in the rain shadow of Vancouver Island. The days are usually hot and sunny, the water is some of the warmest in the northwest and there are hundreds of places to explore. The fjords are lined with waterfalls and amazing scenery.

We go to this area to relax. There are no hurries, and no worries. We can even stay in places several nights just to allow us to explore all of a particular bay or park.

Our style of cruising allows us the time to see and experience our surroundings. We have no set destinations (except the final day) and we can go at our own pace. The David B itself goes along comfortably at about 7 knots, making for an unhurried adventure.

These trips are our most relaxing. The remoteness lets us really get away, without having to go that far. Join us for a trip of a lifetime.
