Sarah Kirkish is a “Portable Professional”, who loves to meet new people and help others build their businesses. Sarah’s professional background is in engineering and business with a focus on customer service to create productivity systems for her clients. Her hobbies include crocheting, board games and being a “Cat Aunt” for friends who are out of town.
Sarah’s history with Northwest Navigation began back in August 2010, when Sarah took her first San Juan Islands cruise. Then serendipity smiled and Sarah moved to Bellingham, Washington from 2011-2012. She spent Fall 2011 helping Christine and Jeffrey as a mess mate and deck hand. Her fate was sealed during the summer of 2012, when Sarah graduated to “Cat Staff” as she took care of Harriet and Oswald for the Smiths while the David B was up in Alaska. She happily raised her hand for the job again in Summer 2014.
In the Fall of 2014, the Smiths asked her to start answering trip email inquiries. Sarah promptly developed a reservation tracking system for the 2015 sailing season. Finally in 2016, Sarah decided she had enough of the “Ginger Gypsy” life and moved to Bellingham permanently. According to Christine, “Everyone needs a Sarah.”
Sarah is very excited to be a part of Northwest Navigation helping with reservations and answering passenger questions as well as thoroughly enjoying summers up in Bellingham with the kitties.
